New publication about folk musical instrument
 
The journal "Studia Instrumentorum Musicae Popularis" has been reborn. Fortunate for all musical instrument researchers a new volume of the journal has been published by Svenskt visarkiv 2005. The book includes instrument studies from as disparate music cultures as Lithuania, Japan, Ethiopia, Slovenia and the Nordic countries.

The new volume has no. XV and contains articles from an instrument research meeting in Falun 2002. Editors are music professor Dan Lundberg (Svenskt visarkiv) and professor Gunnar Ternhag (Dalarna University).
