Finnish Jazz & Pop Archive
The archive was founded 1990 as the Finnish Jazzarchive. In 1997 the archive changed its name to the Finnish Jazz & Pop Archive and started to collect all popular music genres.
Finnish Jazz & Pop Archive collects, stores and catalogues information about Finnish popular music (pop, rock, jazz, dance music, folk music, hit tunes, etc.) both for music researchers and ordinary people. The archive is an independent, registered society, supported economically by the Ministry of Education.
Jazz-Institut Darmstadt
The Jazz-Institut Darmstadt is Europe's largest public research archive on jazz. It holds specialized books, periodicals, sheet music, records, photographs as well as posters and other memorabilia. It aims not only at researchers (journalists, musicologists, students) but at the general public as well. The Jazz-Institut resides in a small baroque palais built 1709-1725. The historical cave underneath the Jazz-Institut is being used for intimate concerts, among them the concert series "Jazz Talk". The Jazz-Institut is a municipal institute founded and financed by the city of Darmstadt.

The ambition is to create a non profit virtual Hot Club encyclopaedia, with hyperlinks to more deepening information on the web - when available.

Norsk Jazzarkiv
Norsk Jazzarkiv skal være et dokumentasjons- og kompetansesenter for norsk jazzhistorie. Arkivet har tre hovedoppgaver:
1) Innsamling, ordning og oppbevaring av ulike typer materiale som kan belyse norsk jazzliv; 2) Forskning; 3) Informasjon om norsk jazzhistorie og om norsk jazz generelt
